Students took a tour of a local television studio and were able to see the cameras, lighting, and control room. Each student got to do a mock weather forecast and an "interview". Great trip!
Kids did great and enjoyed both outings.
Great day! Students traveled the train for about 20 minutes and had lunch at Pizza Works afterwards.
We went food shopping, went to Petco to buy a class fish, town hall to volunteer, and the library to get fish books! Fun day!
Students sat together and had a late breakfast today. Each student ordered their own meal and got their own bill. We did a group activity prior to the outing discussing who was going to get what.
We all had a great time exercising at Stretch.
We also volunteered at the Killingworth Town Hall while another crew went to the library. Busy day.
Students enjoyed a picnic lunch and a tour of a rescue farm with all kinds of animals including a Zonkey! Zebra and Donkey.
Students enjoyed a morning of exercise and games! They then split up into groups - one group went to the library and the other went to the town hall to clean the Youth and Family Space.
We ate lunch at Saybrook Soup and Sandwich. The worksite of one of our students. All students ordered their own meal and paid for their items
We then went to Stop and Shop to buy misc items to start our volunteer job on Monday plus a few food items and holiday craft items. Fun day!
