On Friday students enjoyed mini golfing. It was a beautiful day on the water! Some even got holes in one! Students then went grocery shopping.
We went to Youth and Family Services for the last time this year! We returned library books..at the end of the trip we surprised the bus garage with a platter of fruit skewers, pound cake, and brownies!
It was a beautiful day and kids enjoyed mini golf and eating lunch at the Dairy Barn and ordering Ice Cream.
Students went to Roberts Food Center and bought some items for a BBQ. They stopped at Killingworth Library to check out some books. Upon return to school they made hot dogs and had a little BBQ. Later in the day they played some yard games. Happy Memorial Day!
Students helped relocate basil plants at Halfingers Farm. They then went to the Haddam Senior Center and painted rocks and birdhouses.
Students walked through Main Street in Middletown keeping an eye out for safety signs and other factual information such as hours of operation, open vs. closed, and cross-walks. We even met the Police Chief!
We went to eat at the Athenia Diner. Students budgeted money and ordered their own food. They paid at the end. We were supposed to do a hike today. However, due to rain, we decided to relax and watch movies.
Students went to Scott Farm, place where a classmate and his dad work, they helped do misc jobs and walked around farm. They had a picnic lunch. After the farm they went to Middletown Stop and Shop for some grocery shopping. It turned out to be a great weather day!
We met with Strive today at Shift. Everyone loved the music and worked very hard on their spinning.
Students went to clean and help out at the Saybrook of Haddam. They then went to Youth and Family Services and the library.
