Stretch Fitness in Cromwell

11/30/2015

Students enjoyed their first work out at Stretch. For an hour they moved their bodies to music and stretched their muscles in yoga style movements.  Great time and fun had by all!

Peanuts Movie

11/18/2015

Our travels took use to Middletown to the movie theater.  Students looked at the movie times and bought their own tickets.  They gave their money to the cashier.  Two students both wanted popcorn and they agreed to share.  Other students bought treats for themselves!  They located the theater number and picked their own seats and enjoyed the movie!

Killingworth Fire House and Library

11/13/2015

We got a tour of the Killingworth FIre House today.  Students saw all the trucks and hoses on each of the trucks. Some of the students sat in the trucks.  There was gear to pick up and hold - it was soo heavy! It was a great experience

We also went to the library to return some of the books we got last week.

Haddam Meadows

11/9/2015

Another great day to get out and walk.  Students enjoyed a quiet and tranquil walk through the Meadows.  We saw swans, lots of leaf-less tress, and a couple of boats.  This was good exercise for everyone.  The air was fresh and crisp.  Lovely day!

Books and Lunch

11/6/2015

Today we went to the Killingworth Library for the first time.  Some students had to give their information to be able to take out a book there.  Then we went to Subway in Killingworth.  All ordered and paid on their own.  We got back and ate lunch in our apartment and had some leisure time in the afternoon.  Some kids walked outside, some read books.  It was a great Friday

Wadsworth Falls

11/2/2015

Beautiful Fall day to head to Wadsworth Falls State Park for a hike.  Great to get out and exercise!
